{"id":8,"date":"2012-10-13T01:39:09","date_gmt":"2012-10-13T00:39:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/192.168.1.249\/wordpress\/?p=8"},"modified":"2016-04-11T23:50:41","modified_gmt":"2016-04-11T22:50:41","slug":"phily-chicken-bacon-with-chips","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cooking.freddythechick.net\/?p=8","title":{"rendered":"Phily Chicken &#038; Bacon with chips"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We found this little recipe on the Philadelphia website and saw the advert on the TV, so we tried it tonight!<\/p>\n<p>Here is the recipe:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A skinless, boneless chicken breast for each person<\/li>\n<li>A pot of Philadelphia light with chives<\/li>\n<li>A strip of bacon for each chicken breast<\/li>\n<li>Enough chips for each person\/personal tastes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preperation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Turn the oven on before you start to pre-heat it. It needs to be 190\u00b0C fan oven\/200\u00b0C conventional oven\/gas mark 6 for a gas oven.<\/p>\n<p>Cut a slit into the side of each chicken breast to form a pocket. Open it out to form a butterfly.<\/p>\n<p>Spread the Philadelphia on one side of the open chicken breast. Season well with salt and pepper then press the breast back together. Repeat for other breasts.<\/p>\n<p>Wrap the breast in a slice of bacon. Place on a baking tray and then put into the pre-heated oven for around 25 minutes. Make sure it is thoroughly cooked through, especially under the bacon slices before serving.<\/p>\n<p>While waiting for the chicken breasts to cook, 10 minutes before prepare the chip fryer and fry the chips until crisp and golden<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully both will be cooked at around the same time.
